Who are we?

Clay Palmetto Group was founded as a veteran-owned real estate team dedicated to serving the Midlands of South Carolina with integrity, excellence, and biblical principles of stewardship and care.

Led by U.S. Army Special Operations veteran Joaquin Clay, the team quickly rose to the top 1% of Realtors in the state. We specialized in helping military families, first-time homebuyers, and clients navigating significant life transitions with professionalism and genuine support. Every transaction reflected the same discipline, leadership, and commitment to service that defined our founder’s military background.

After strong growth and meaningful impact in the community, Clay Palmetto Group has transitioned to inactive status. This change allows our founder to pursue a new chapter of service — preparing to attend USC School of Medicine Columbia to become a physician and continue helping others in deeper and more impactful ways.

While we are no longer actively conducting real estate transactions, we remain deeply grateful for every client and family we had the privilege to serve. Joaquin is always happy to offer guidance and trusted recommendations to past clients or anyone in the Midlands seeking a reputable realtor for specific needs — with no fees or obligation.
